In Asian cuisine, burdock root (Arctium lappa) is peeled, sliced, pan fried, and enjoyed as a delicious vegetable. Among herbalists, it’s prized for its fibrous nature and mild bitter constituents, and has a long history of use in supporting digestion.*
Alvita Burdock Root Tea is made with premium-quality, organic burdock root, and exudes an earthy, slightly roasted flavor with an aroma reminiscent of chicory.
Place one tea bag in a cup and add 8 oz of boiling water. Cover and steep for 15 minutes. Gently squeeze tea bag and remove.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
We recommend 3 cups daily, preferably between meals.
